Dr. Michael J. Reed was born and raised locally, here in Waukegan Illinois. He graduated from Waukegan High School in 2002 where he played football, wrestled and baseball. Dr. Reed then went on to get his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in microbiology from Western Illinois University where he played division I baseball for the Leather Necks.
Dr. Michael was always interested in natural health. In his pursuit to help and heal others, he attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he received his second Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Doctorate in Chiropractic and Master’s degree in Sports Medicine and Rehab. Dr. Reed currently helps with Trinity International University as well as High School athletic teams. Additionally, he is the team physician for Waukegan Youth Wrestling, Official Chiropractor & Sports Medicine for All Pro Sports Performance, Chiropractor for Waukegan High School, Physician for Lake County Venom Semi-Pro Football team. Dr. Reed is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician.
When Dr. Reed is not in the office, he is very active in his community. He volunteers with several lake county charities and is a member on the Waukegan Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Reed continues to play baseball for the Rhinos Midwestern Suburban Baseball League, co-ed softball, enjoys working out and spending time with his family and friends.
